Paul was born in Clovis, New Mexico on October 14, 1949 to Eva Marie Clark and Paul Deaver, Sr. Soon after, his family relocated to Lubbock, Texas. There at an early age he met Pamela Ross Eaves and on August 16, 1968 they married and were life-long sweethearts. From this union came two children. He is survived by his wife Pam of 48 years; Sons, Ricky of May, and Mark of Rosharon; Grandson, Gage of Lake Brownwood; Two Granddaughters, Kyndal and Kaylyn of Rosharon; two sisters, Nancy Mathis of Olton and Kay Glidewell of Amarillo; his faithful companion Maggie; and several nieces and nephews.
During his youth he began his education at schools in the Arnett Benson neighborhood in Lubbock. During his teenage years, he worked for his father at a full service gas station and then later began working at Brandon & Clark Electric. After 30 years with Brandon & Clark he relocated to North Lake Brownwood to retire. The retirement did not last long as the need arose for his expertise in machining and he started Brownwood Machine & Welding in Brownwood. He eventually retired in the house that was constructed wholly by him and his wife.
Paul has had a vast knowledge of anything mechanical and electrical, as he used most of his knowledge in his daily life. He was always helpful and would lend a hand for anybody that needed his help. Some of his personal idols were Elvis Presley, Dale Earnhardt, and his father, Paul Deaver, Sr. Paul had many hobbies which included working on hot rods, watching NASCAR, and bowling. He was always an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and his loyalty never waived.
Paul Deaver is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ronnie, and six sisters; Betty, Ann, Shirley, Janice, Gay, and Connie
