Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Monday, October 24
*11:29 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center regarding a complaint of theft. According to the report, the female stated that some vehicle transmissions had been stolen from her husband. He did not wish to pursue charges unless someone is caught on the property, the report states.
*1:33 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bailey Street. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 21-year-old Robert Daniel Rodriguez of Brownwood on an outstanding warrant for no driver’s license and failure to identify.
*8:06 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Belmeade regarding a suspicious situation and found property. According to the report, some clothing along with narcotics had been found.
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Hwy 279 regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, a female complainant advised that her boyfriend would not leave and she feared the situation would get physical. The male, identified as 37-year-old Lonnie Dewayne Smith of Zephyr, was found to have two active Brown County warrants. After speaking with the pair, Smith was arrested on the warrants. The complainant requested a trespass warning be issued to Smith.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Nikita Marie Martinez of Brownwood on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Martinez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
*Bangs Police arrested 31-year-old Denise Frances Rohner of Austin for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Thomas Reed Stewart of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear.
Tuesday, October 25
*5:15 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Fisk Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, an assault of a family member had occurred. As a result of this call, 36-year-old Timothy Ray Gatliff of Brownwood was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Adam Wayne Funderburg of Zephyr and 33-year-old Jessica Lynn Womack of Brownwood. Funderburg and Womack were each charged with manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Both were being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $40,000 each as of Tuesday morning.
