Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

Monday, August 1

*12:58 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 15th Street and Coggin Avenue.  According to the report, this stop led to the issuance of a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*6:52 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Oak Park Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, during the burglary, a handgun, jewelry and a purse were stolen from the vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Jerry Wayne Colbert of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to register sex offender.

*23-year-old Jesse Graviel Jauregui III turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/duty on striking fixture/highway landscape.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 57-year-old Cynthia Louise Marrow of Cross Plains for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Jessie John Noriega of San Angelo, Texas on a warrant related to engaging in organized crime.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Emilio Gonzalez Torres of Brownwood on a warrant related to engaging in organized crime.

Tuesday, August 2

*2:27 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  Two suspects were located and issued citations for theft less than $100.
