ColeLloydLloyd Wayne Cole, age 63, of Bangs passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Mukewater Cemetery with Bro. Paul Blake officiating.  No visitation will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Lloyd was born on March 16, 1953, to Bert and Lillian (McGlothin) Cole in Brownwood, Texas. He married the love of his life, Kathy Estes, on April 17, 1976 in Bangs. Lloyd attended Concord Baptist Church; same church his parents attended. He retired from 3M on February 1, 2012, after 36 years. He had farmed and ranched all his life. Lloyd loved his dog, Chewy.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Cole of Bangs; children, Christina Collier and husband Scott of Altus, OK, James Cole and wife Renda of Bangs, Angela Clark and husband Brandon of Brownwood; grandchildren, Koral Sanchez, Justus Collier, James Wayne “Bo” Cole, and Rebekka “Becky” Cole; great-grandchildren, Elijah Sanchez, and one on the way; brother, David Cole and wife Martha of Bangs; sisters, Joyce Fisher of Brownwood, Eva Gunter and husband Wayne of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Spencer Collier; and brother-in-law, Wayne Fisher.
