Funeral Services for Bill Bullard Jr, age 58, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Billy Dean Bullard Jr. was born on December 26, 1956 in Brownwood Texas to Billy Dean Bullard Sr. and Sandra (Vogel) Bullard. Bill passed away at his home on October 31, 2015.
At an early age, Bill loved excavating, selling and trading antique bottles. Bill was a 1975 graduate of Early High School. He was a state qualifier in Pole Vaulting, played the trumpet and was voted Most Handsome of his senior class. After high school, Bill attended McMurray University, San Angelo State University and Ogle’s School of Hair Design. After graduating, Bill operated his own salon for over 25 years until deciding to return to his childhood passion of collecting, buying and selling antiques.
Bill loved music and could pick up an instrument and know how to play it in a day. He especially loved playing the trumpet. Bill had a compassion for people, animals and spending time with his family. Bill had a deep faith in the Lord, which shined through in his devoted compassion and empathy to those in need. Bill loved his nieces and nephews and was known as not only “Uncle Bill”, “Uncle Buck” but most of all their own term of endearment was “Money Changer”.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Sandra Bullard, sister Kellye Bullard and her children Brady Woods, Brittny Woods and Jackson, brother Mike Bullard and Judy and children Mika and Wayland Damron, Emma and Maggie, Cody Bullard and Morgan, Monica and Will Parker and Ami, Kamee and Larry Jamison, Sienna and Kaeli, Cody and Katie Bailey, Cole, Ella and Ardyn, Mitchell Bailey and Cate. Bill was also survived by many close uncles, aunts and cousins and former wife Leslie Gilbreath.
He was preceded in death by his rabbit, Thumper and his dog, Princess.
