MLKPlazaPlantingSpring2015

Keep Brownwood Beautiful recently held a planting at the Martin Luther King, Jr. plaza at the corner of Austin Avenue and Commerce Street to help beautify this high traffic area.

KBB is a non-profit community organization open to the public to help residents “take responsibility” for their community in beautification as well as environmental projects.  The group often participates in beautification projects such as the planting of flowerbeds across the city and hosts recycling events often.

To learn more about KBB, please visit their website http://keepbrownwoodbeautiful.org or their Facebook page, Keep Brownwood Beautiful.  Those interested in KBB or its activities can also call 325-641-0533 for more information.

Pictured above are Brandon Jones (kneeling), Draco Miller, Anthony Larson and Craig Seger (back left to right) as they replanted the flowerbed.
