Monday, March 16
*9:27 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 259 in Zephyr regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the ranch manager for the Rocking K Ranch stated that a section of fence had been removed and damaged sometime between March 14th and 16th.
*12:54 PM –Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Looney Street regarding theft. According to the report, a store employee advised a known suspect entered into a rent-to-own agreement with the business and not only stopped making payments but pawned some of the items as well.
*11:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Belmeade Street due to multiple callers stating that a male was waving a rifle at others in the yard. Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is being investigated and possible charges are pending.
Tuesday, March 17
*4:28 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a sexual assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known subject exposed himself to the complainant’s children the night of Wednesday, March 11, 2015. A report for indecency with a child – exposure was filed.
*5:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Southside Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that his grandson had been assaulted at a school in Brownwood.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Orlando Enrique Carrillo of Brownwood on a warrant related to obstruction or retaliation. Carrillo was released on $20,000 bond.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 31-year-old Ana Lisa Gonzales of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear.
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Randi Lee Helge of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $1500.
Wednesday, March 18
*12:46 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding disorderly conduct. This call led to the arrest of 49-year-old James Ray Medcalf of Brownwood for public intoxication, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Michael Andrew Penn of Brownwood on warrants related to engage in organized criminal activity and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Victor Hugo Rueda, Jr. for terroristic threat of family violence.
*20-year-old Andrew Chambliss Thrasher of May turned himself in on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
