Wednesday, January 28
*1:46 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding theft of property. According to the report, the complainant stated that a female subject stole her iPhone 5S. An investigation is pending, the report states.
Thursday, January 29
*9:33 AM – A Brownwood Police officer located a wanted subject in an abandoned building in the 1300 block of Main Street. The male subject, identified as 40-year-old Reynaldo Garza of Brownwood, was arrested for the warrant and also found to be in possession of narcotics. He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*1:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brooks Drive regarding the theft of a bicycle.
*2:30 PM – Brownwood Police received notice from personnel in records that a subject has failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
*3:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a hit and run. According to the report, an unknown subject in a Chevy Suburban backed out and struck the complainant’s vehicle and then left the scene without providing any information. The complainant advised he wished to pursue charges, the report states.
*5:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 4th Street regarding the theft of a UPS package from his residence.
*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Austin Avenue and Indian Creek Drive regarding the possible violation of a protective order. According to the report, the complainant reported that her ex, who had a protective order against him, was following her. The subject, identified as 23-year-old Dustin McFarland of Brownwood, was located and a pursuit followed, the report states. McFarland was arrested for violation of a protective order and evading arrest with a vehicle.
*54-year-old Jerry Wayne Colbert of Brownwood was arrested on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Samuel Ervin, Jr. on a Travis County warrant related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 32-year-old Albert Eugene Espinosa of Brownwood on a warrant related to sex offender’s failure to comply. Espinosa was released on a $10,000 bond.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 62-year-old Larry David Hopkins of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra of Brownwood on a warrants related to motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury family violence and two surety withdrawals related to terroristic threat and assault causes bodily injury. Ibarra was being held at the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $15,000 as of Friday morning.
*36-year-old James Ross Migliavacca of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than or equal to 1 gram in a drug free zone. Migliavacca was released on a $10,000 bond.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Jessica Dawn Netherton of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to tamper/fabricate physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone. Netherton was released on bonds totaling $10,000.
Friday, January 30
*Early Police arrested 23-year-old Jacob Ross Newton of Early for possession of drug paraphernalia.
