Thursday, December 4
*7:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Vincent Street regarding an incoherent male subject who was at the front of the school entrance of the school. This call led to the arrest of 29-year-old Richard Fields of Brownwood for consumption of alcohol on school grounds and for an active warrant related to sex offender’s failure to comply.
*8:49 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Beaver Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*2:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Chrissy Nicole Lundy of Brownwood for theft over $50.
*3:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Parkway Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, a male subject advised he had been slapped by an acquaintance that fled the area in a vehicle. The subject could not be located at the time of the call; however, photos were taken of the victim’s injury and the incident documented, according to the report.
*4:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a vehicle was damaged in the parking lot.
*6:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, Meghan Turner Gray, one of the subjects involved in the disturbance, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, the report states.
*6:29 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of 8th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that his motorcycle had been vandalized and he wished to file criminal charges.
*8:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of 6th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, 17-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra of Brownwood was arrested for terroristic threat (family violence).
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of medication from a residence on Rocky Hill Road. According to the report, the medications were stolen while the complainant was out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday. The incident was documented, the report states.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 43-year-old Chris Truitt Barker of Early on warrants related to theft class C and failure to appear.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 38-year-old KC Huff on a warrant related to sexual assault of a child. Huff was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Cynthia Elliece Keeney of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 18-year-old Dustin Wade Marshall on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Marshall was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Ceairra Dawn Moore of Comanche on warrants related to burglary of a habitation and motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana. Moore was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $70,000 as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Ronnie Pena of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Orion Peters of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license, failure to appear, and motion to revoke/resist arrest search transport (Bexar County). Peters was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $20,800 as of Friday morning.
Friday, December 5
*1:20 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a suspicious person in Bangs. According to the report, a deputy who was in the area located a subject matching the description of the suspicious person. The subject, identified as 38-year-old Florentino Steven Lucero, Jr., was determined to likely be under the influence of methamphetamine and his behavior posed a danger to himself and the public, the report states. Lucero was arrested for public intoxication.
*7:33 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 800 block of Booker Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*8:19 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the suspect vehicle was located at the mini storage buildings on Brady Avenue. This call led to the arrest of 23-year-old Jessica McPherran of Comanche for fleeing the scene of an accident greater than $200.
*9:44 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue H regarding the theft of a bicycle from under the carport of the residence.
*12:43 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding a forged check which had been passed at a local business. An investigation is ongoing, according to police.
*2:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Glen Cove regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the complainant’s utility trailer had been struck and damaged while it was parked by the curb in front of the residence.
*6:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, three .22 caliber firearms were stolen from a vehicle within the past two months.
*7:14 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Adams Street regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the actor was no longer on scene and officers made contact with the home owner who reported several power tools along with household items were stolen during the incident. No arrest was made at the time of the report, according to police.
*9:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Magnolia regarding a male subject that had broken out the window. This call led to the arrest of 43-year-old Paul Allen Boykin of Brownwood for an outstanding warrant as well as burglary of a habitation.
*9:25 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, a mini storage unit was burglarized and items including a washer and dryer, a jewelry cabinet and various household goods were stolen in the incident.
*10:35 PM – Two Brownwood Police officers were on patrol in the area of W. Austin when they observed a pickup parked on the southeast side of Degal’s mini storage, in front of one of the units without its lights on. Due to the number of recent mini storage burglaries that have been reported, the officers found it suspicious at that time of the night, the officer reported. The officers approached the vehicle on foot and during contact with the driver, they observed him to be holding an open beer and to have a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath or person along with slurred speech, the report states. The driver, identified as 59-year-old Juan Martinez-Constanico of Brownwood, admitted to drinking and driving to the location and failed several field sobriety tests, the report states. Martinez-Constanico was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
*11:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Borden regarding a citizen’s dispute. According to the report, the subject who was allegedly causing the dispute had left on foot. While en route to the call, the suspect was located walking within the 100 block of Coleman Street, the report states. This call led to the arrest of the suspect, identified as 36-year-old Billy Joe Brumett of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Tammy Jo Contreras of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 66-year-old Dwayne Lewis Elms of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.
*Early Police arrested 26-year-old Michael Wayne Hays of Blanket for driving while license expired with previous conviction and ran stop sign.
*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Colton Chad Miller of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 40-year-old Julie Ann Mullins of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, December 6
*9:20 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding criminal mischief.
*11:16 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal dumping on Stanley Lane, which was possibly in progress. According to the report, the deputy found the dump site, which was actually at the reservoir on County Road 180. The trash present was not recently dumped there, the report states.
*12:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue B regarding a domestic disturbance.
*7:35 PM – Brownwood Police were on patrol in the area of 3rd Street and Avenue G when they observed two cyclists that did not have lights on the front of their bicycles. During a stop of the cyclists, consent was granted to pat the subject’s down to check for weapons for officer safety since one of them had a knife in his pocket, the report states. The other cyclist was found to have multiple items in his front left pocket which he was asked to remove from the pocket, the report states. The items included a small Ziploc baggie containing marijuana, and the second cyclist, identified as 17-year-old Jadarius Williams of Brownwood was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*8:19 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a suspicious call in the 1100 block of Riverside Drive. According to the report, a subject had passed out in pickup. The officer located the vehicle and found the subject, later identified as 26-year-old Dustin Ray Matheny of Early, slumped over in the driver’s seat, the report states. This call led to the arrest of Matheny for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A less than 2 ounces, according to the report.
*9:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the officer met with the compliant who is disabled and confined to a wheel chair and who reported being assaulted by her husband. The husband was not able to be located at the time of the report, according to police.
*10:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Avenue E regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Tyler Keith Neil Teague of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*11:11 PM – An off duty officer was shopping at Kroger, in the 300 block of N. Main Street, when he was contacted by a store manager who expressed concern with a female inside the store who they thought was shoplifting. This call led to the arrest of 33-year-old Nichole Marie Sanchez for class B theft after she attempted to leave the store with $390.05 worth of merchandise for which she did not pay.
*1:50 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a vehicle being driven by a subject that was known not to have a valid driver’s license and a traffic stop was initiated. According to the report, during the stop the driver, identified as 27-year-old Chelsea Rene Mallone of Brownwood, surrendered a 1 mg tablet of Alprazolam for which she did not have a prescription. Mallone was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*30-year-old Chasity Rose Allison of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone penalty group 3/4.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Cheryl Lee Chastain of May on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 60-year-old Albert Joe Duffie of Brownwood for burglary of a habitation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old James Fogal of May for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
*42-year-old Dwayne Uterral Hardeman of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to assault family violence impede breath/circulation.
*Bangs Police arrested 24-year-old Peyton Cleveland Wilson of Port LaVaca on a Runnels County warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana.
Sunday, December 7
*2:41 AM – Brownwood Police were approached by a pedestrian in the 2800 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a subject identified as 29-year-old Christopher George Moore of Brownwood breaking a window of his truck. This contact resulted in the arrest of Moore for public intoxication.
*3:57 AM –A Brownwood Police officer was in the drive through at Whataburger, in the 400 block of E. Commerce, when he was flagged down by an employee of the restaurant. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 22-year-old Alexandria Melissa Rendon of Lometa for public intoxication and disorderly conduct- language.
*11:31 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the1600 block of Avenue E regarding theft. According to the report, two power saws, a nail gun, and two tool boxes full of tools and were reported to have been stolen from a storage building. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*4:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Center Avenue regarding assault by threat. According to the report, a male resident reported that a female resident had given him a pot of food and some plates to eat off of, and that when he went to return the pot and plates, the female was not interested in taking them back yet. A few days later, the woman demanded the items returned and threatened the male, the report states. He stated that he has tried to resolve the situation and had even spoken to the manager, but has had no luck with resolution with the female and wanted something done so that the female will “leave him and everyone else alone,” the report states. The female was identified however, she was not able to be located at the time of the report.
*5:41 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street regarding a hit and run accident involving a GMC Yukon. After an investigation, it was discovered the reporting party, identified as 31-year-old Ellisa Estrada Limon of Brownwood, lied about the event and made a false report, according to police. Limon was arrested for false report to a peace officer, the report states.
*6:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Main Blvd. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had struck his company truck sometime since Thursday, December 4th.
*7:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding theft and forgery. According to the report, a known suspect had fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. An investigation is ongoing, according to the report.
*7:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Center Avenue regarding an assault with injury. According to the report, a male subject stated that he was assaulted by another male who lives at the apartment complex.
*9:24 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 438 in May regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated a male subject has assaulted him for no apparent reason and that the male suspect’s ex-wife was also injured during the assault.
Monday, December 8
*12:04 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 200 block of W. Austin Avenue. During the stop, both occupants acted extremely nervous which led to the discovery of a marijuana pipe in the vehicle. According to the report, a methamphetamine pipe was also located on 34-year-old Coiley T-Shane Burns of Brownwood, and he was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The driver was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after he claimed ownership of the marijuana pipe.
*8:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd regarding an assault. This call led to the arrest of 36-year-old Tamara Banks of Brownwood for assault family violence with injury.
