Tuesday, October 21
*9:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding a juvenile male being disorderly. According to the report, the officer observed the male to be the same male from a previous call. The juvenile male was issued a criminal trespass warning as requested during the previous call, the report states. The male was also found to be in possession of tobacco and was issued a citation for minor in possession of tobacco.
Wednesday, October 22
*7:00 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of a sex offender who was not in compliance with the sex offender registration program. No arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*9:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Santa Clara Drive regarding theft.
*2:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 9th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, after speaking with the complainant, it was determined that nothing was taken from the home and the offense was changed to a criminal trespass of a habitation.
*8:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 2nd Street regarding a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of 42-year-old Jesse James Cortner of Brownwood for an active parole warrant as well as on charges of assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Billy Gene Christensen III on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity. Christensen was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
Thursday, October 23
*2:00 AM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the 1400 block of Avenue H. According to the report, the pedestrian identified as 33-year-old Rollie Galvan Lopez of Brownwood was found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine. Lopez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
