Thursday, October 2
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies made a motorist assist where it was discovered that a male subject had been let out of the vehicle further down the roadway. According to the report, the male, identified as 54-year-old Danny Garcia of Brownwood, was located and found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for public intoxication due to him being a danger to himself and others.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Cody Lee Gill of Blanket on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.
Friday, October 3
*7:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of 15th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 381 regarding theft. According to the report, a male subject reported that a known female had stolen items from his residence without his permission. The male did not wish to pursue charges; however, he did wish for the female to be issued a criminal trespass warning for the property.
*8:46 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Bailey Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend had come to his house and damaged his door and that he wished to pursue charges.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen motorcycle. According to the report, the complainant reported that an unknown subject had removed his 2006 Harley Davidson Street Glide from behind his residence.
*Early Police arrested 43-year-old James Timothy Chambers of Early for driving while intoxicated.
*Early Police arrested 68-year-old Derroby Jack Gartman of Brady for driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of weapon.
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Andrew Joseph Harvey of Brownwood on warrants related to speeding 10% or more and violate promise to appear.
Saturday, October 4
*1:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a citizens’ dispute. According to the report, a male subject was reported to be on scene attempting to fight other people. Officers located a male, later identified as Danny Garcia, stumbling through the parking lot of Food Plaza, the report states. This call led to the arrest of Garcia for public intoxication.
*11:23 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding interference with child custody.
*2:21 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue I regarding criminal mischief.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Oscar Alvarez of Brownwood on charges related to no driver’s license and violate promise to appear.
*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Michael Nolan George of Brownwood regarding possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Amado Osornio Sanchez of Rising Star on an Erath County warrant related to indecency with a child.
*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Jimmy Wayne Sellers of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Teresa Thetford of Early on a warrant related to theft of property less than $50 enhanced.
Sunday, October 5
*8:34 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Austin Avenue regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, this call led to a male subject being issued a criminal trespass warning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity. According to the report, a woman was observed loading gravel into a white pickup at the intersection of FM 2632 and FM 2125. The woman stated that she had obtained permission from TxDOT to scoop up loose gravel, the report states. TxDOT could not confirm if the woman had permission but that the construction contractor may have granted permission, the report states.
*7:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a Brownwood residence regarding a suspicious call. According to the report, a female called advising that she wanted to report “inappropriate behavior” between her 16-year-old granddaughter and a male subject. During this call, information was obtained regarding the offense of indecency with a child that occurred in Brownwood in January of 2013, the report states.
*6:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue K regarding domestic disturbance. According to the report, an investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Anthony Daryl Beasley of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence by strangulation.
*7:37 PM – Brownwood police received a report of a runaway juvenile.
*10:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a gaming console had been stolen from the residence when someone broke into the complainant’s home while she was away.
*19-year-old Aaron Camden of Brownwood was arrested on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Dickie Martinez of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A, less than or equal to 2 ounces.
Monday, October 6
*Early Police arrested 54-year-old Daniel Lynn Newton for driving while intoxicated 2nd, possession of drug paraphernalia, littering and defective tail light.
