Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, August 5, 2014.

Monday, August 4

*8:44 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1400 block of Main Street.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 32-year-old Crystal Lee Thomson of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with prior convictions.

*2:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, an employee observed a subject conceal items and walk out of the store, never attempting to pay for the items.  Management wished to pursue criminal charges and the subject, identified as 41-year-old Contessa LaDawn Munos of Elgin, was arrested and charged with theft of property greater than $50 less than $500.

*4:59 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding found property.  According to the report, someone from a local hotel brought a black wallet to her address.  The wallet’s owner was identified and the wallet is being held in the Brownwood Police evidence lockers for safe keeping, the report states.

*5:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of E. Commerce, Best Value Inn, regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*9:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Melwood regarding an assault.  The complainant stated that he was struck by an unknown subject, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Jason Loyd Bell of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief greater than $500 less than $1500.

*25-year-old Shaela Britton of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.

*34-year-old Christopher Craddock of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 43-year-old Jennifer Darlene Jolly of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal to or greater than $50 less than $500.

*45-year-old Raynaldo Maldonado, Sr. of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to assault.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Grady Steven Sanderson of Early on a warrant related to criminal mischief greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Kelli Dawn Sikes of Coleman on warrants related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance, driving while license invalid and failure to appear.

Tuesday, August 5

*12:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of China Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, officers arrived to find the suspect had fled on foot prior to their arrival.  The suspsect returned to the scene a short time later and again fled on foot but was apprehended a short time later, the report states.  18-year-old Blayne Scott Craig of Brownwood was arrested for assault family violence with injury by strangulation and evading arrest/detention.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Isaac Eli Alvarez of Brownwood for theft of property greater than $50 less than $500 and on warrants related to assault causes bodily injury family violence and theft of service.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 44-year-old Robert Lawrence Dunavan of Dallas for driving while intoxicated 2nd and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
