Lillian Pearce, age 89, of Brownwood passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at Cross Country Health Care.
Graveside services for Lillian will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Brian Hall, Dick Williams, and Lawrence Blackstock officiating. Visitation from 11-1 prior to funeral services at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Lillian was born on February 2, 1925 to Allison and Flora Mae (Curtis) Rich in Eastland County. She graduated from Cisco High School. Lillian was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader in her church for 40 plus years. She also served as a Foreign Mission Director for 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Kay Tilton and husband Jack; grandchildren, Lonnie Johnson and wife Jennifer of Great Falls, MT, Lisa Pearce of Wimberly, TX, James Pearce and wife Caroline of Wimberly, TX, and Christopher Tilton of Graham, TX; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one namesake granddaughter, Lily Christina Johnson; sister, Augusta McCoy of Eastland, TX; daughter-in-law, Carolyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Pearce; son, Kenneth Ray Pearce; granddaughter, Jessica Tilton; parents; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy in memory of Lillian.
