Brownwood emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle accident in the 300 block of Carnegie Street Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., a Ford F-150 pickup was traveling south on Carnegie and attempted a left turn when it collided with an oncoming Kia crossover vehicle which was traveling north on Carnegie, according to one of the drivers.

The driver of the Kia and at least one of the child passengers appeared to have nonlife-threatening injuries.  The driver of the Ford was reported to be uninjured.

The Kia, pictured above, had significant front-end damage as did the Ford F-150.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
