Thursday, November 21
*5:27 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known subject continually follows him in his vehicles and attempts to run the complainant off of the road. On this date, the complainant confronted the subject and was allegedly threatened with bodily harm, the report states.
Friday, November 22
*3:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of 5th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that her grandson had assaulted her by pushing her and that she did wish to pursue charges. The juvenile grandson was arrested and transported to the Brownwood Police Department, the report states.
*4:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, dispatch advised that the suspect had trespass warning for the property and that the suspect had assaulted one of the store employees. The suspect, 21-year-old Charles Devlyn Dyess was being detained on the ground at the corner of Durham and Coggin Avenue, the report states. The store manager was on scene along with two other subjects who had Dyess detained. Dyess was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.
*5:59 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the complainant stated that a white Ford pickup had backed into his van and drove away without providing the required information. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 51-year-old Viola Goodman Diaz for driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Zachary Isaac Fournier of Amarillo on a warrant for forgery.
*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old David Blake Havens on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence by strangulation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Lonnie Dewayne Smith for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 42-year-old Gary Dwayne Tilley for theft of service equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.
Saturday, November 23
*12:04 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Riverside Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that the tires on his Ford F-150 had been damaged and were flattened by someone. The complainant named a possible suspect and stated that he wished to pursue charges, the report states. The investigation is ongoing.
*6:51 PM – A Brownwood Police officer observed a pickup traveling south on Avenue A which failed to signal a turn onto Brady Avenue. According to the report, the stop led to the arrest of Myranda Salazar for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and for two counts of possession of a dangerous drug.
*11:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 2nd Street regarding a noise nuisance, a loud college party. According to the report, the caller reported that the parties at the location were becoming a problem every weekend. Upon arrival, several minors were found to be inside the residence and some were found to be consuming alcohol, the report states. This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Henry Rene Valladares for making alcohol available to minor.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Barry Chad Beal of Coleman on a warrant for burglary of a habitation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Gary Wayne Hale on a warrant related to failure to appear/continual violence against family and two counts of assault causes bodily injury family violence. Hale is being held in lieu of bonds totaling $100,000.
Sunday, November 24
*12:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an animal bite.
*1:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of Cottage Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the suspect, identified as 27 year-old Kenneth Morgan Meador II was taken into custody and charged with assault family violence with injury.
*3:25 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Stewart Street regarding a missing person. According to the report, the complainant advised her ex-daughter-in-law was missing.
*7:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding theft. According to the report, after an investigation, an active case was opened against the suspect for the violation of a protective order.
*9:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, an unknown suspect entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and stole an assortment of tools and speakers. An investigation is ongoing.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Jose Carrizales for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 2 or 2-A equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams.
