The BRMC Volunteers are pleased to announce that Vi Williams has been selected as the July 2013 BRMC Volunteer of the Month.
Vi Williams has been a Volunteer since 2002. She is a past President of the Volunteers serving in that position of leadership in 2006 – 2007. Vi currently serves as Chairperson for the Greeting Card Ministry and Co-Chairperson of the Emergency Room Waiting Room Volunteer Service Area. She also volunteers at the Information Desk, the Surgery Waiting Room and the Day Surgery Waiting Room Volunteer Service Areas. Vi has over 4,600 hours of volunteer service at BRMC.
The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the Award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected. Each BRMC Volunteer of the Month recipient is recognized with a framed Volunteer of the certificate, a ‘For the Love of a Child’ pin which represents the motto of The Texas Association of Healthcare Volunteers for the 2013 – 2014 Volunteer Year and a ‘BRMC Volunteer of the Month’ bar.
