The American Southwest Conference today announced its women’s basketball players of the week and Howard Payne guard Tresta Donahoo was honored as the West Division Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Howard Payne junior point guard Tresta Donahoo averaged 25 points, 7.5 rebounds, four assists and two steals over two conference games, including a 61-54 home win over Mississippi College.
Donahoo, who takes the division’s top weekly honor for the second time this season, had game-high 25-point performances against both MC and Louisiana College. She hit a combined 17 of 21 free throws.
Donahoo leads the league with 22.8 points per game.
