The Brownwood Fire Department is encouraging everyone to “pink out” during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and are selling special pink shirts in honor of the cause.
Through the month of October, BFD will be selling the shirts for $15 each. Proceeds will stay in Brown County and benefit cancer patients locally according to BFD firefighter Bryan Harvey. To purchase a shirt, drop by Brownwood Fire Station 1 or call (325) 646-6743 to place an order. The deadline to order shirts is October 10th, so order yours today.
The shirts were also sold during reunion weekend and were a big hit. Pictured above, firefighters sporting pink shirts during National Night Out 2012. Pictured below are the front logo and back of the shirts offered to the public.
