Organizers for the Brownwood Reunion Celebration posted details about their photography contest that take place during this year’s event.
The Brownwood Art Association will once again host the contest this year and all photos will be displayed at the Brownwood Art Center located at 215 Fisk during Reunion.
The contest is open to photographers 8 years old and up with prizes by age group: 8-14, 15-20, 21 and up (non-professional only). There is a $5 entry fee per photo, and no limit on the number of entries. All photos must be framed and have a wire or hook – ready to hang, and all subject matter, in good taste, may be submitted but is accepted at the discretion of the Brownwood Art Association.
Entries in the photo contest can be dropped off at the Art Center on Sunday, September 9th 1-3pm; Tuesday, September 11th 6-8pm; or Wednesday, Sept. 12th 1-3pm.
The photo contest exhibit will be open to the public at the Art Center at the following days and times during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration:
- Friday, September 14th 5-7pm
- Saturday, September 15th noon-5pm
- Sunday, September 16th 1-4pm
