Virginia Lee Miller, age 70, of Brownwood died Wednesday evening at her home.
Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
She was born December 30, 1941 in Brownwood, the daughter of the late Clarence Leon and Mildred Kelly Lewis. She graduated from the Early High School in 1960. She retired from 3-M after working for 25 years and later worked as a caregiver for South Park Development Center. She was a Baptist and had lived in Brown County all of her life.
She will be remembered as a loving Mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by 2 Daughters – Donna Harper and husband John of Brownwood and Terrie Willingham-Cornelius of Brownwood
A son – Roger Cornelius and wife Rebecca of Brownwood
8 Grandchildren – Chelrye Cornelius, Tana Herbert, Chase Harper, Jessica Nikolauk, Destiny Harper, Zanden Bible, Ryan Harper, and Karly Harper
4 Great Grandchildren – Kynleigh Cornelius, Garrison Nikolauk, Riley Nikolauk, Madison Harper
3 Sisters – Viola Bruton of Odessa; Frances Dalleh and husband Nasheed of Brownwood; and Linda Golson and husband Bob of Cross Plains
A Brother – Wayne Lewis and wife Shirley of Comanche
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael Cornelius.
