Wednesday, May 23
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a damaged mailbox. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
Friday, May 25
*12:45pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an animal cruelty call. According to the report, a complainant stated that 40 horses were being neglected at the property. The deputy went to the property and spoke with the owner and determined that there was 120 acres of land to graze along with feed and water and that all of the horses he could see seemed to be in good health, the report states. No violation of state law was found during the deputy’s visit, the report states.
Monday, May 28
*3:26pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of US Hwy 377 S regarding a domestic disturbance in progress. According to the report, after all parties involved including witnesses had been spoken with, it was determined that no physical violence took place and only a verbal argument occurred.
*8:13pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of 8th Street regarding a child that was out of control. According to the report, after an investigation, one juvenile was arrested for Assault Family Violence, 2 or More Times within a 12 Month Period.
*10:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of 11th Street regarding criminal mischief to a vehicle. According to the report, a suspect was named and the investigation is ongoing, charges will be sought if a suspect is found.
Tuesday, May 29
*11:29am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vincent regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the suspect, 17-year-old Jeffery Beck, refused to provide the officer with any of his information and would only state that he wanted his mother. Beck was arrested for Failure to Identify.
*12:14pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office receive a report of a damaged door and possible entry at a residence in the Lamar Terrace addition at Lake Brownwood. A glass door was damaged; however nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.
*1:36pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding the theft of a dog. According to the report, between 9:30am-5:00pm on May 27th, someone removed her 4-month-old Rottweiler puppy from her yard in the 2600 block of 1st Street.
*4:06pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of S. Broadway regarding a civil matter. According to the report, the complainant indicated that several offenses relating to business were committed by an ex-business partner.
*5:03pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant indicated that someone fraudulently obtained her debit card number and completed two unauthorized transactions on her account.
*5:31pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 4300 block of Brookdale regarding a domestic violence. According to the report, investigation determined that 25-year-old Tiffany Bostick had committed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to Assistant Chief James Fuller, Bostick was arguing with her husband and had a knife they were using to cut a strap from the trunk of the vehicle and threatened the male with the knife. The male took the knife away from her, so she went to the kitchen and brought out another knife, Fuller said. When another resident of the home came out and told Bostick she was “crazy,” Bostick threatened to stab her as well and “cut out her baby,” stated Fuller. Bostick was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Family Violence.
*5:40pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Arrowhead in reference to a civil standby. According to the report, police found a child custody involving a mother not releasing a child to his father due to the father not showing up at the proper time.nter regarding fraud.
*6:18pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Avenue B regarding theft. According to the report, a storage building at this location had several items including a 42-inch television and assorted fishing equipment stolen from inside the building. There are no suspects, the report states.
*6:27pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 3rd Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a window on the residence had been vandalized. No specific suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*7:49pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street, the Kroger parking lot, regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the victim did not have a description of the suspect vehicle and had discovered the damage when she returned to her vehicle after shopping. The complainant’s vehicle was damaged on the front left bumper when an unknown vehicle struck it and left the scene without attempting to make contact. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of the report.
*9:12pm-Brownwood Police received a report of lost property which occurred at the Family Dollar store at 304 N. Main Street. According to the report, the complainant stated that she went to the store around 2:00pm and lost her wallet possibly in the parking lot. She had returned to the store only moments later and was unable to locate the wallet, the report states.
Wednesday, May 30
*2:09am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Avenue B regarding criminal mischief that had just occurred. According to the report, the complainant stated that two females and two males exited three different vehicles attempting to start an altercation with her brother. The complainant stated that when her brother refused to challenge them to a fight, the suspects used a cutting instrument and flattened both front and back passenger side tires of the complainant’s vehicle. Four suspects have been identified in the case and the complainant does wish to pursue charges against the suspects.
*2:51am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a theft that had just occurred. According to the report, a suspect had stolen a 30-pack of beer from the store. Based on the complainant’s description of the vehicle, a possible suspect vehicle was located from another call, the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Khayman Broadi Delarosa for Driving While License Invalid.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
