Law enforcement arrests and reports released August 22, 2011.
Friday, August 19
*7:08am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Brady Avenue, Ag Mart Mini Storage. A passerby reported a yellow van ran through the fence and struck a storage building. Upon arrival, the officer observed a yellow mini van parked and unoccupied at the storage building. It was apparent that the van had collided with the storage building and connecting fence, according to the report. The driver had not been located at the time of the report.
*7:33am-Brownwood Police responded to the burglary of a building in the 2400 block of Coggin Avenue, Lil’s Boutique. The owner/complainant stated that sometime during the night an unknown person(s) entered through the doggie door, opened the money box and left it in the floor. The owner stated that she had not left any money overnight so no money was taken, according to the report.
*5:29pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault. The complainant stated that he was assaulted by his boss while at work in the 2800 block of Virgil Gray Drive.
*10:34pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Austin regarding found property. Upon arrival, the officer located a green and silver oxygen tank. The tank was placed in the Brownwood Police Department impound for safekeeping until it can be identified and claimed by the proper owner.
*11:41pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle in the area of Melwood and Hendricks in Brownwood for defective headlights. Dispatch identified the driver as 44-year-old Robert Laverne Riley and informed the deputy that Riley had a suspended driver’s license for no insurance and that the insurance on his car was unconfirmed. Riley verified that he did not have insurance on his vehicle and the deputy placed him under arrest for Driving While License Invalid with No Insurance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Jeanne Evans Clark of Early and 24-year-old Seth Clark Friday morning when a search warrant was executed based on information BCSO had received. During the search, marijuana and weapons were located and seized, according to BCSO officials. Jeanne Clark was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1g in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. Seth Clark was arrested for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
*31-year-old Joshua Ryan Daniell of Early was arrested by Brown County Sheriff’s Office for Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 equal or greater than 4g less than 200g.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Roger Dale Hamrick of Blanket for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and a Parole Violation.
Saturday, August 20
*2:20am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct at the Oasis Bar. Upon arrival, it was made known to that the incident took place in the 100 block of Graham. The complainant stated that the suspect, who lives on Graham, became angry at the complainant for parking a vehicle on her property and hit the hood of the complainant’s car.
*3:42am-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 3rd Street regarding criminal mischief. The complainant stated that a known subject broke out the left passenger window on her vehicle. The damage was estimated at $300. Witnesses and friends reported seeing the suspect break the window. The complainant did wish to pursue charges.
*8:09am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 401 W. Commerce regarding found property. The calling party stated that she found a white plastic zip bag containing a white powdery substance next to her vehicle in the parking lot. The responding officer took possession of the bag and processed it into evidence at Brownwood Police Department.
*4:30pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main regarding criminal mischief. The complainant stated that he is the owner of the field behind Kroger and that he is working on the property. A black silkscreen fence with wire inside of it has been damaged on the property. The complainant stated someone had torn the silkscreen off of the fence and that it would cost $5000 to replace.
*11:51pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Chandler regarding a domestic disturbance. The complainant stated that she was assaulted by her life partner, identified as 38-year-old Stephanie Caperton Phillips. The complainant had a 1 inch cut on her right ring finger and also had mud and beer on her clothing. She stated that she had been pushed down by Phillips and that she wished to pursue charges. Phillips was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Hector Saul Castillo of Early for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and Driving While License Invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Elizabeth Lynn Felipe of Coleman for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 3 less than 28g and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Richard Harris of Coleman for Driving While License Invalid.
*Paul Dall Watson III of North Richland Hills surrendered himself for arrest on a warrant connected to the Brown County Operation Smorgasbord after being apprehended in Las Vegas. Watson was reported to be in Las Vegas getting married. After his apprehension, he was ordered to drive to Brownwood to turn himself in which he did Saturday. Watson was charged with Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 equal or greater than 4g less than 200g and with Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade3/4 less than a28g in a Drug Free Zone.
Sunday, August 21
*12:47am-Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a burglary of a habitation. The complainant stated that an unknown suspect stole several electronic items from her apartment within the last few minutes.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of Avenue A for suspicious activity and arrested the driver,25-year-old Jonathan Joseph Dillard for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions. The passenger, 21-year-old Cody Ray Vuittonet was also arrested for Public Intoxication.
*7:41pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a burglary of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Magnolia. The complainant stated between the hours of 10:00pm on August 20th and 7:00am August 21st, an unknown person had entered her vehicle and stole a newly filled prescription of Hydrocodone. No suspect information was available at the time of the report. Nothing else had been taken from the vehicle.
*11:49pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce regarding theft. The asset protection employee observed a woman attempt to leave the business without paying for items. She was issued a criminal trespass warning and a citation for theft less than $50.
*Early Police Department arrested 33-year-old Jim Taylor for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Brian Wagner of Austin for Driving While Intoxicated
Monday, August 22
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Robert Curtis Yates III of Coleman for Driving While Intoxicated and Purchase/Furnish Alcohol to a Minor.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
