Sunday, August 14
*2:03pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Coggin Avenue and Vine Street. One patient was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
*8:48pm – BFD was dispatched to a two vehicle accident in the 1500 block of Magnolia. Two patients were transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Wednesday, August 17
*4:52am – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bangs Hill involving a single vehicle with no injuries.
*9:55am – BFD performed a public service call. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small child locked in a vehicle. Fire Crews unlocked the vehicle.
*12:54pm – BFD was called to an alarm activation at 1 Center, Bank of America. Nothing found, false alarm.
*1:04pm – BFD was called to a grass fire in the 1400 block of Belle Plain. The fire was out upon arrival. Fire Crews wet down area and cleared scene.
*5:49pm – BFD was dispatched to a power line that was reported to be down in the 1500 block of 9th Street. After investigation the line was determined to be a TV cable line.
Saturday, August 20
*11:00am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 11000 block of FM 586. Fire crews arrived on scene to find an approximately 50 acre brush fire. Many volunteer fire departments were also on scene and worked to contain the wildfire.
*10:22pm – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident on FM 2525. A patient transported by Guardian to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
