As breeding season commences, the Corrine T. Smith Animal Center (CTSAC) has already begun receiving litters of puppies and kittens too young to adopt.
There is a need for qualified foster homes that would be willing to take care of animals that are not yet ready to be adopted until they are adoptable. This might include bottle-feeding, socializing, or providing medical care.
Those who foster must be able to provide a safe, stable, pet-ready environment and have the financial means to provide the animal with the care it needs to be ready for a forever home.
If you are interested in becoming a foster family for the Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter, please call (325) 646 – 0617 or visit the animal center located at 3016 Milam Drive in Brownwood.
