Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Daniel Stambaugh pled guilty to the felony offenses of Criminal Mischief, two separate offenses of Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Theft over $1500 under $20,000 – Aggravated, and was sentenced to Seven (7) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Landon James Calhoun pled no contest to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Guadalupe Herrera Trevino, on probation for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated was revoked and sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Timothy Patrick Turpin pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Turpin pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to Six (6) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Keith James Aubel, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Building was revoked and sentenced to Eighteen (18) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

David Alan Carr, III, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Building was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Amy Lynn Lewis, on probation for the felony offense of Forgery was adjudicated and sentenced to Thirteen (13) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
