Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, March 18th.
Wednesday, March 16
*3:14pm-Brownwood Police received a report of harassment. Investigation determined that the suspect had violated a protective order by communicating with the complainant via Facebook.
Thursday, March 17
*4:20pm-A Brownwood Police officer spoke with a complainant by telephone at Brownwood Police Department regarding debit card abuse. After investigation, it was determined that several unauthorized transactions have been made on the complainant’s checking account. An active report has been generated regarding the incident.
*Early Police Officer Steven Means investigated an assault that occurred at a local motel. According to the report, a male subject had picked up a female walking on the street in Brownwood. The male stated they had some beers then went to sleep police state.
According to the report, the male woke up after two male suspects forced the door open and one sat on top of him and was hitting him in the face. After the victim got away, the male who assaulted him along with the other male left the room the report states. The suspect was apparently the female’s son and the other male was her boyfriend. The investigation is ongoing.
*Early Police Officer Steven Means responded to a disturbance. According to the report, two males were fighting over one of the males’ imaginary girlfriend. The males were separated and a mental health (MHMR) caseworker was contacted the report states.
Friday, March 18
*1:24am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to an argument in the 300 block of Bluffview. After allowing one of the subjects involved to collect his belongings, he was issued a criminal trespass warning for this location according to the report.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
