With spring-like weather forecast for the weekend, the Brownwood Area Community Garden invites all gardener aficionados and gardener wannabes to join BACG in a Work Day Saturday, Jan. 29, to plant the Garden’s orchard.

The day will include planting trees and putting in berry plants from 10 to 1 Saturday, and gardeners of all ages and abilities are welcome. For more information or directions to the Community Garden, at 1514 Dublin St. behind the Central Texas Opportunities offices, call 325-784-8453.

The Brownwood Area Community Garden is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing fresh, naturally grown produce to our area food pantries.
