Law Enforcement reports and arrests released Monday, June 7, 2010

Saturday, June 5

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Christopher Michael Denton on the charges of Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Evading Arrest

*Brownwood Police responded to a report of damage to a building in the 200 block of W. Anderson possibly caused by a vehicle.

Sunday, June 6

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 37-year-old Jonathan MacClerran for DWI

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 31-year-old Justin Wesley Watson for DWI

*Brown County Sheriff’s office responded of a report of identity theft on Ireland Dr.

*Brownwood Police stopped three males walking the 1300 block of 5th St.  One teen was cited for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.  The teen was released to a sober adult. Police arrested 18-year-old William Covington for Failure to Identify after giving officers a false name according to police reports.

*Brownwood Police responded to a verbal dispute at Driftwood Apartments over a dog.

*Brownwood Police responded to a report of a man making verbal threats to another man in the 1500 block of Coggin

*Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft of beer at Wal-Mart

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
