The Brownwood Lions baseball team hit the road and took down the Breckenridge Buckaroos Friday night in District 2-3A play with a come-from-behind victory.

The Lions were down as much as 5 runs late in the game, but rallied back to win it 8-6.  This takes the Lions to a 11-7-1 record overall for the season and 1-1 in district.  Their next district opponent will be Graham on Tuesday night in Brownwood.

Meanwhile, the Brownwood Lady Lions softball team had a big win over Graham Friday night with a no-hitter shutout.  The Lady Lions dropped the Lady Blues 4-0 with top notch pitching from Brownwood’s Kate Atchley and Sydney Laws.

This win puts the Lady Lions in first place in distirct.
