FEMA will host a floodplain meeting on Tuesday, April 9th from 4 PM – 6:30 PM at the Adams Street Community Center to discuss revisions to floodplain maps.

All Brownwood, Early, Blanket, and Brown County citizens who live in low lying areas and/or within close proximity of creeks/streams are invited to attend the come and go meeting.  Lending institutions and insurance representatives are also invited to attend.   Preliminary floodplain maps will be available for review showing the changes.

Early ISD has called a special meeting of the EISD Board of Trustees at 5:30 PM on Friday, March 8th to consider hiring a new Athletic Director/Head Coach for the district.

The board will have discussion in their regular session followed by a closed session where the decision will be considered.

The meeting will take place at the EISD administration building, located at 101 Turtle Creek in Early.
