Brownwoodnews.com announces the launch of their mobile app for iPhone to provide a new resource for news and information in Brownwood and the surrounding area.
The app is a redesigned and updated version of the iBrownwood app originally launched in 2010 which was designed and created by Addison Multimedia in Brownwood. Brownwoodnews.com recently acquired the app from Addison Multimedia, and the app is now available for download for free in the Apple App Store.
The newly redesigned app combines up-to-date local news from Brownwoodnews.com as well as useful information from local sources to give residents, tourists, or those looking to relocate access to Brownwood, Texas media and information.

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for BrownwoodNews.com at the Depot on Tuesday.
BrownwoodNews.com is proud to be a member of the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and appreciates all of their help and support.
BrownwoodNews.com began online publication on July 17th, 2009. The site has grown from a few dozen readers in the first week to thousands of readers by the end of August.
